A custom event app for Momentum Builder LIVE, started after a call from my good friend Don Goettling. The original app wasn’t going to be ready in time.

The story
It started with a phone call.
What do you do when your good friend Don Goettling calls in a panic saying the live event app won’t be ready in time for Momentum Builder LIVE? You build your own custom event app.
My work
What I’m building.
I’m building Event Beast as a mobile-first companion for Momentum Builder LIVE: the agenda, speakers, sponsors, event information, and attendee connections in one place. The work spans the attendee experience, the application, and the organizer tools behind it. Event technology is delivered through Cuantico AI.
Where it stands

The public build is up. I’m continuing to develop the app and prepare it for Momentum Builder LIVE. Follow the build as it takes shape.
Decisions behind the build
The thinking is part of the product.

Put the event in their pocket.
A mobile-first website gives attendees a way in through their browser, without making an app-store download part of the experience.

Keep the program editable.
Agendas and logistics change. Organizer tools keep the event content connected to the attendee experience.

Connect people, not contact lists.
The app separates public event information from private attendee details. Connections happen through opt-in profiles and in-app conversations.
